Passion for food and nutrition lead me early to studying ecotrophology. I wanted to find out more about our groceries. Llegislation, sensors, quality, nutritional value, technologies, micro biology…the abundance of facets is giganticant. To be able to apply the diversity of products and processes in my work life I was drawn tochose quality assurance as my profession straight after university. In 2017 I was able to enter Hamburger Feinfrost GmbH and deal exactly with the diverse duties I was hoping for. Working in between suppliers, customers, public authorities, certifiers, veterinarians, furtherother stakeholders and society in general is everything but boring. The view over the for me most beautiful work place in the Hanseatic city directly at the fish market was anO ne of the unbeatable argument to take the job offer was clearly the view and atmosphere at one of the most spectacular workplaces in Hamburg, right on the river Elbe and next to the fish market. I can also see the Elbe river at my home at the dike in Kirchwerder, where people still speak “plattdeutsch”. Being deeply rooted in Hamburg I anchored the gateway to the world deep in my heartfeel very connected to my place and line of work.
